Why do people throughout the world spend millions of dollars on works of art? They believe those pieces are priceless, beautiful, one-of-a-kind, and unique. Now, imagine yourself being that piece of artwork, but instead of Vincent Van Gough, Pablo Picasso, or Leonardo da Vinci putting you together, it is God who is putting His “touch” on you; painting and sculpting you into who you are.

How does it feel?

Maybe you’ve never stopped to think about it, but I am here to tell you that God created you in His image and that He makes no mistakes! God sees you as a masterpiece and He wants you to “know that full well,” (Psalm 139:14). If you really need some convincing, Luke 12:7 states, “Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

God loves you so much that He knows the exact amount of hairs on your head! How crazy is that!? 7 billion people in the world and He could tell you how many hairs each and every one of us has on our head!

Romans 1:20

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Psalm 139:14

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

I challenge you to tape Psalm 139:14 to your mirror and every morning recite that verse with a smile. Make this your reminder of how much thought God put into making you who you are and how much He loves you. You are who you are for a reason!
