Hi, Crowned Beauties!
2016 is when I wrote to you all last!?!? I am not even joking, I thought it was at least last year… There is so much to catch you guys up on!
I seriously feel as if this year has flown by and I don’t even remember what I did for New Years, Easter, etc. I’ve really been thinking about how adults tell you when you’re young to “enjoy your time while it lasts.” Until big responsibilities come into the picture, you don’t realize how fast time slips through your fingers.
I’ve been challenging myself to put aside time for myself and the Lord, to really soak in all He is doing in my life. Time for me to slow down and focus on all of the blessings I’ve received and look back on how God has worked through me to get me where I am today.
That being said, here is where I am at in this season of life!
I am no longer looking into internships in New York just because it’s too expensive and I am not feeling called there. I am however looking into an internship at my church working as part of the Creative Team; really focusing on the church’s social media, which I’ve fallen in love with!
I am also in the process of applying to a few in-state universities, mostly local, instead of out-of-state. This is because I haven’t felt the calling to really leave my area — which a few years ago I would have completely been against because I wanted to “get out” and “find myself,” I guess, but so far I have been able to do this in my own backyard!
My family and I are also going on our first-ever cruise together in just a few weeks! So far, the only member in my family that has been on a cruise before is my mother. I am super excited and I can’t wait to write about my experience and share it with you guys!
This is definitely not everything that I have to share, but I don’t want to bombard you all with too much information at once, so I am hoping to keep up my writing to you, Crowned Beauties and I am so excited for what the future holds!
