It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of social media networks. We get to see all of the amazing things that our favorite celebrities are doing and often start to compare our lives with theirs. This can lead to thoughts like “How could I ever measure up to them?” or “Why couldn’t my life be this exciting?” These thoughts can be destructive, and it’s easy to lose sight of who we are when we are so caught up in the lives of those we follow. We may even feel as if our lives don’t necessarily matter. Unlike the lies that we feed ourselves, God sees us as important; He gave each of us unique traits. He created you with your purpose in mind; He has prepared good works for you to do. God tells us in His word that we have been given this life according to his purpose. He wants you to reach out and share the Gospel with those who need to hear it. God has so much in store for your future. Believe that, and ask Him to reveal it to you!
As Johnny Diaz put it so beautifully
