Recently, especially on Pinterest, I’ve been seeing these chic, elegant summer looks that are still playful enough for the hot weather!
Here are some ways to amp up your summer style: Miami edition!
Here, our lovely model Este is wearing a simple white dress with statement accessories! I styled a skinny scarf to mimic that “movie star in a convertible driving through the streets of Hollywood” feel.
Try picking one with a bright floral pattern to add a fun contrast and appeal to the look.
I also added a few bangles and a tassel bracelet for a bit of texture! If you hadn’t noticed, tassels and pompoms are very in right now! Check out our Trend Report on them!
Nat, our model, is wearing what I would say was/is my favorite look of the day. This look has “effortlessly chic” written all over!
I started with this gorgeous off-the-shoulder top that I purchased from my local Franchesca’s and a pair of white denim coulottes. Coulottes, in a denim fabric, have been a recent favorite amongst the top street style stars, so I thought I’d give them a try!
My thoughts so far? I think they’re fabulous! Now, I get they’re not for everybody. If you’re not willing to dive straight into this trend maybe try a cropped skinny jean, they’ll give you the same effect with half the drama.
To add to the elegence of the look I added a pair of pointed-toe ankle-strap pumps and a white straw wide-brimmed fedora.
Since the outfit pretty much speaks for itself I went with minimal jewelry, but, of course, the pieces had to have some sparkle to them!
There is just something about a linen pant… I got these from Old Navy and I am in love! They’re so nice since you’re able to dress them up or down.
Here, I just paired the white linen pants with a plain black tank top and a few layered dainty necklaces!
I gave Este this huge straw bag (A.K.A my new favorite summer wardrobe staple) to carry all of her goodies in and added this adorable keychain to give the look some color.
Simple strappy flat sandals were all that were in order to complete this fun summertime look.
This is an outfit I’d totally wear out to the farmer’s market or even on a shopping date with my girls!
Nat totally rocked the shirtdress trend out of the park! This army green color is a great way to add another “colorful” neutral to your summer wardrobe!
I decided that, since the dress is so structured, that I could afford to add big, bold accessories, so I piled them on! Don’t be afraid to try a bold statement necklace with a larger pair of drop-earrings!
To finish off the look, Nat wore a pair of chunky block heels.

This off-the-shoulder jumpsuit is a great option for hot summer days. It’s elegant enough that you could dress it up with a pair of heels or even wear it with a pair of strappy sandals!
Getting windy? Throw on a floppy straw hat to keep (most) of your hair out of your face! This one that Melanie purchased at Charming Charlie’s is adorable with its white straw fringe around the edge!
I didn’t want to overcomplicate this look so I added a simple pair of drop-earrings to top it all off!
