This past week has been pretty hectic. You all know from my previous post that I am applying for an internship at my church to join the creative team, handling social media, etc. Well, I received the application last week and it took me a whole week to go through it and actually get it turned in.
Needless to say, I am just glad I was finally able to turn it in, and that I can finally focus on writing to you all!
As I also mentioned in my previous post Update: Life – My family and I are going to be setting sail on our very first family cruise at the end of this month and I am super excited! I’ve been researching as many cruise tips as possible and I can’t wait to share all of my experiences with you!
BUT!
Before I head out on the open waters with my family next weekend, I will be taking a small weekend trip to visit my youth pastor and his family this weekend and I can’t wait to see him and his family!
I also wanted to share with you a book that I began re-reading this week. I haven’t read through the entire thing yet but in my first attempts, I did get through a little over half of it. So here I am revisiting this book: Crash the Chatterbox. This book helps you in showing you how to hear God’s voice above all others.
“The voice you believe will determine the future you experience.”
Steven Furtick
Now, I haven’t ever reached the end of the book, but this time I’m planning on it. After this, I have a crazy-long list of other books I’d love to read, but I thought it would be best to begin with this one.
I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book, even though I haven’t gotten all the way through, it has already opened my eyes to see how I subconsciously look to so many other voices before seeking out God.
This week, Crowned Beauties, spend some time in the Word looking into who God says you are and what He believes about you.
