Can you believe that tomorrow starts the beginning of a new year? In less than 24 hours it will be 2018 and I just can’t wrap my head around it! Today I wanted to bring you some New Years Eve outfit inspiration, whether you’re headed out to a party with friends or partyin’ it up at your place with your parents, these outfits are sure to be show-stopping.
Above, my outfit consists of a long lace dress, that I layered over a black slip dress and paired with strappy black heels. I threw on a velvet bomber jacket for an extra layer since it’s been pretty chilly at night; it also adds more texture to the look.
Pro Tip: velvet is a great alternative to sparkles for New Year’s Eve, it’s way more comfortable and looks just as good in photos!
Want to dress this look down some? Add a pair of your favorite sneakers or combat boots!
For Kristina’s look, I chose a high-neck dress that has a ruffled sleeve. Since the fabric of the dress was a little more elevated, because of its shimmery pattern, I added a pair of booties for some extra edge.
Want to dress up a bit more? Throw on any sparkly LBD, pair it with a nice sparkly block heel, and pin your hair into a low messy bun for an effortlessly chic look!

I didn’t want to take away from the “wow factor” of the top, so I paired it with simple black skinny jeans.
