Hey, Ladies!

So, I don’t know about you, but I know for a fact that temperatures are definitely heating up again in South Florida. I also know that a bowl of cereal and almond milk or toast with jam can get pretty monotonous as an everyday breakfast. But no worries, I’ve got just the solution! None other than the ALOHA BREAKFAST BOWL! Both taste bud and Instagram worthy! (no but seriously listen to me on this one). Smoothies are great, but smoothie bowls are even better. With your smoothie bowl, you’re presented with the opportunity to spice your regular smoothie up into an aesthetically pleasing work of art. Here is a recipe that you can whip up quickly with just a few ingredients that will not only fill you up but also give you that healthy boost of energy that you’ll need in order to conquer your day!

HERE IS WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE THE ARTWORK:

2 Bananas

½ c Frozen Mango

½ c Frozen Strawberries (or other berries of your choice)

½ c Frozen Pineapple

Splash of Orange Juice or Water

content

FOR THE TOPPINGS:

a handful of rice krispies

2 tbsp granola

1 tbsp chia seeds & hemp seeds (hemp seeds are optional)

1 tbsp cacao nibs (yaasss!!!!)

a handful of any of your fruit of choice (we chose blueberries but bananas are the best!!)

as much shredded coconut as your beautiful heart desires

Now, you can most definitely tweak the ingredients around. Feel free to add more frozen banana, less frozen mango, raspberries even; the possibilities are endless. However, if you want to stick to this ALOHA BREAKFAST BOWL flavor, just simply follow the recipe ingredients.

HERE IS WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO COMPLETE YOUR ARTWORK:

Step 1: Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend up for a few minutes until it produces a nice and thick consistency.

*Blending may take a few minutes due to frozen chunks of fruit not wanting to cooperate but patience is key!

After the blending process is done, we need to put everything into a bowl. So, find a bowl that is deep or wide enough to contain the beauty that is your soon to be breakfast! You can easily find cute bowls at TJ MAXX or Target for fairly inexpensive.

Step 2: Next, we want to top it all off with yummy stuff, of course! There is usually no specific order to it. The goal is to make the bowl dazzlingly beautiful!
